Speaking at an APS School Board Meeting

The APS school board meets regularly throughout the year. You can access the schedule of meetings, agendas, and more at the APS Board meeting website. Public comment takes place at the beginning of the agenda. Engaging with decision makers is critical to this process. If you are able, please attend the APS Board meeting in person. Being in person is impactful.

The sign up for Public Forum time slots (virtual and in person) opens at 8:00am the morning of the meeting - time slots may go quickly so we recommend signing up as close to 8am as possible. Public comment slots are typically TWO MINUTES unless there are more than 23 speakers and then time slots are only One Minute.

  • Remember there are options to speak at the meeting virtually or in person. 

  • You will receive a confirmation email from APS with further instructions after signing up.

  • There is also an option to have a language interpreter. You can speak in the language you are most comfortable with.
